# Check Public Sources

Use `https://asha.news/sources`, `GET https://asha.news/api/v1/sources?limit=50`, and `GET https://asha.news/api/v1/sources/health?limit=50`. No API key is needed for public source reads.

Scope labels:
- Asha-visible entries: rows intentionally shown in the public directory.
- Monitoring-resource summary: broader private source-resource scope summarized for context.
- Source snapshot: time-stamped counts; treat as volatile.

Output rules: preserve `source_directory_updated`, `generated_at`, `verified_at`, and `fallback`; say which endpoint/scope produced the count; do not expose private paths, support-service names, keys, database URLs, or admin-only details.
