Soho House \n\nIt’s been 11 months since NeueHouse — the exclusive members-only co-working and social spot where memberships cost thousands — [closed](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/lifestyle/real-estate/neuehouse-shuts-down-hollywood-new-york-members-club-1236360948/) its Venice Beach outpost on Market Street when it abruptly shut all its locations in Chapter 7 bankruptcy.\n\nNow [Soho House](https://pagesix.com/2025/10/03/society/soho-house-cutting-hundreds-of-members/) is moving in, Page Six Hollywood has exclusively learned.\n\nNot a single tear was shed when NeueHouse left among Venice’s dwindling pool of old-school artists and misfits — who have begrudgingly watched as the once counter-culture community has become a magnet for the Broligarchy. But news broke late Wednesday that the global hospitality group Soho House is launching its own private club in Venice Beach.\n\nSoho House is taking over the 23,000 square foot building that was previously occupied by the exclusive Neuehouse. Soho House\n\nPer it’s official description, Soho House Venice Beach will be two blocks from the beach and “will feature multiple spaces for members to eat and drink, connect, unwind, and recover.” Soho House\n\nPage Six Hollywood has learned that Soho House plans to take over the exact same 23,000-square-foot Venice Beach building that NeueHouse occupied before it went under.\n\nSoho House did not comment, but posted a brief rundown of its Venice plans on its site — including that the new spot will cost $6,000 per year and offer its first “Health Club Cafe.”\n\nThe place will also include a communal 50-person “contrast suite” with a hammam, sauna and cold plunges, as well as a cryotherapy and ice bath room, and “multiple spaces for members to eat and drink, connect, unwind, and recover.”\n\nSoho House launched its first outpost in LA in 2010 in West Hollywood. Getty Images for Revive Collagen\n\nThe new Soho House Venice Beach will open in summer 2027, two blocks from the beach as the fifth Soho House outpost in LA.\n\nOne longtime Soho House member was less than enthused about the news of yet another LA-based location, feeling like the brand was being diluted.\n\n“Honestly, it’s starting to feel like the Bonvoy and that’s not what I signed up for,” said this source, referring to the Marriott loyalty program.\n\nThe clubs went private this year. Soho House\n\nThe Venice Beach location includes state-of-the-art touches. Soho House\n\nBut local real estate titan**Tami Pardee** was bullish when P6H contacted her.\n\n“It’s going to be such a different vibe from the NeueHouse, and I think it’s a brilliant move on their part,” said Pardee. “It’s going to be a totally different thing and it can service not only Venice but also Mar Vista, Marina Del Rey and Playa Vista as well. I really think it’s the missing piece,” she said.\n\nSoho House launched its once hopping flagship West Hollywood location in 2010, followed by Little Beach House in Malibu, Soho Warehouse in DTLA and Soho House Holloway.\n\nBut since it started the club trend, competition among LA private clubs has sharply increased with the arrival of Sunset Tower hotelier **Jeff Klein**‘s San Vicente Bungalows in 2018 in West Hollywood and subsequent expansion to Santa Monica, plus the additions of the Bird Streets Club and the upcoming Aman.\n\nBird Streets Club is a members-only restaurant and social club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Instagram/@sanvicenteclubs\n\nPage Six Hollywood reported last year that Soho House was [culling](https://pagesix.com/2025/10/03/society/soho-house-cutting-hundreds-of-members/) hundreds of members across its most popular spots — including its Hollywood and NYC locations — who “no longer mirror the club’s creative profile.” The move to edgy and upscale Venice would seemingly up the club’s cred.\n\nBillionaire Yucaipa founder and Soho House’s largest shareholder **Ron Burkle** closed a deal for Soho House to go private again this year, as part of a $2.7B buyout with backers including**Ashton Kutcher**, ending a four-year NYSE run.\n\n## Explore More\n\n### Want to keep reading?\n\nBecome a Page Six Hollywood Insider for FREE to access exclusive stories, premium newsletters and members-only events.\n\nBy clicking \"\" you agree to the [Terms of Use](https://pagesix.com/terms)&[Privacy Notice](https://pagesix.com/privacy)\n\nFiled under\n\nArticle by\n\n Per it's official description, Soho House Venice Beach will be two blocks from the beach and “will feature multiple spaces for members to eat and drink, connect, unwind, and recover.” Soho House\n\nYou are viewing**1** of **8**images Previous Image Next Image\n\n## More Stories\n\n### Page Six\n\n### Page Six Hollywood\n\n### NYPost","source_name":"New York Post","source_url":"https://pagesix.com/2026/07/23/hollywood/soho-houses-new-venice-beach-locale-will-take-over-spot-previously-occupied-by-neuehouse/","url":"https://pagesix.com/2026/07/23/hollywood/soho-houses-new-venice-beach-locale-will-take-over-spot-previously-occupied-by-neuehouse/","author":"mliss1578","author_name":"mliss1578","published_at":"2026-07-23T13:45:00.000Z","publication_date":"2026-07-23T13:45:00.000Z","image_url":"https://pagesix.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2026/07/www-sohohouse-com-en-us-135232731.jpg?quality=75&strip=all&w=744","category":"world","topic":"world","tags":[],"political_bias":null,"bias_score":null,"confidence_score":null,"credibility_score":null,"factual_quality":null,"reading_time":4,"word_count":774,"view_count":0,"breaking":false,"breaking_news":false,"ai_analysis":null,"fact_check_status":"unverified","archive_status":"hot","language":null}}
