# Family devastated after NYC dad of two beaten to death in road-rage attack as killer on the loose

The Queens man bludgeoned to death during a senseless road-rage attack on the Belt Parkway was a married father of two who was on his way home from his job at JFK Airport, his family said.

Crisanie Dockery, 47, was driving home with a coworker around 1:10 a.m. Sunday when he got into a beef with another driver — and [was pummeled with a bat](https://nypost.com/2026/07/26/us-news/road-rage-maniac-fatally-beats-nyc-man-with-baseball-bat-on-belt-parkway/)and left dying on the side of the road in what his sister called a devastating tragedy for his family.

His killer remains on the loose.

“How can you take him away from his children, his family?” the dead man’s siter, Marsha Dockery, told The Post. “It’s so unnecessary. It could have been death with so differently.

“He was such an outgoing person, a friendly person, someone who you could approach with just about anything,” she said. “We are hoping that someone who sees something comes forward.”
