Saudi Arabia confirmed that Yemen's Houthi rebels attempted to attack Riyadh with a ballistic missile. State media reported the interception of the projectile aimed at the capital.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for the strike, which reportedly targeted a fuel depot at Riyadh airport and caused delays on Saturday. This incident marks the first targeting of Riyadh since the recent escalation in fighting.
